The Dwyer House is a wooden two storey structure with a steep gable roof. Located in Tilting, Fogo Island, Newfoundland, it was constructed between 1887-1890. It has a lower ceiling (maybe 6.5 feet) on each floor, which made it easier to heat. The rooms are compact but charming and typical of the period. The house is open to the public as a tourist attraction every summer and has been furnished with donated antiques and accessories.
